Haris Rauf: Will PCB give Harris NOC for Big Bash League?

Players, including fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, and Osama Mir, who have refused to play for the national team in Australia, have not been issued NOCs for the Big Bash League so far.

The schedule for the Big Bash League in Australia begins on December 7, and in the event, fast bowler Haris Rauf is again required to represent Melbourne Stars. However, NOC has not been issued by the PCB to date.

Officials say that no decision has been made yet regarding the participation of players in the tournament, but the matter is under consideration. An international website has claimed that after refusing the tour of Australia, there is a possibility of Haris Rauf being demoted from the central contract category and being deprived of the NOC for the Big Bash League as well.

Haris Rauf had expressed unavailability for the Test series against Australia due to workload and fitness issues, after which top officials are unhappy with his behavior. It should be noted that Haris Rauf and Osama Mir have contracts with Melbourne Stars, and Zaman Khan has a contract with Sydney Thunder.

Yesterday, Media Director PCB Aliya Rashid had said that if players do not prepare for Test cricket, everyone will only want to play T20, and it is necessary for every player under the central contract to be ready when a call is made for the Pakistan team. Alia Rashid said that limiting oneself to just 4 overs is not appropriate, if you have the capability, try to progress in every format.

After the statement from the board, speculations are being made that Haris will not be issued NOC for the Big Bash League.
