The United Arab Emirates has announced the Eid Holidays for the year 2024

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the upcoming Eid Holidays and other public holidays for the next year.

According to Arab media, the UAE has declared the holidays for the year 2024 in government and private institutions. The Eid al-Fitr holidays will be from April 8 to April 12, while the Eid al-Adha holidays will be from June 16 to June 18.

However, it is noted that the dates for Eid holidays may be subject to change based on the sighting of the moon.

The UAE has also included other holidays for the year 2024, such as New Year’s Day on January 1, the first day of the Islamic year on July 7, Arafat Day on July 15, the Prophet’s Birthday on September 15, and National Day on December 2-3.

It is worth mentioning that the government has also availed the services of the astronomical department to determine the dates for these holidays throughout the year.
