Speaking at an event commemorating the “Zara Alert App” in Islamabad, Prime Minister Enverul Haq Kakar expressed that the professional military never targets children, but they witness the Israeli army’s Holocaust against Gaza’s children. He emphasized feeling ashamed in front of Gaza’s children.
Addressing the gathering, Kakar stated that the government is determined to protect children’s rights, and all segments of society have a responsibility to work for the betterment of children. He mentioned that the Zara Alert App will prove beneficial in safeguarding children’s rights.
The Prime Minister conveyed his concern for the children in Gaza, where children are being killed indiscriminately. He highlighted that in wars, professional armies do not target civilians and children, unlike the Israeli military, which is involved in the killing of innocent children in Gaza. The killing of innocent children goes against international laws and human rights.
Kakar expressed shame for the situation in Gaza, witnessing a Holocaust against Palestinian children. He called for an immediate halt to this Holocaust, viewing the oppression in Gaza not from a religious perspective but through the lens of human rights.
Further, the Prime Minister stated that the situation in Palestine will become a significant cause of future conflicts.
