Roshan Digital Account Surpasses $7 Billion in Overseas Transfers: A Milestone Achievement by the State Bank of Pakistan
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has recently announced a significant milestone for the Roshan Digital Account, revealing that overseas Pakistanis have surpassed the transfer of $7 billion through the platform this month.
This noteworthy accomplishment, shared on the social media platform Twitter by the State Bank, signifies a remarkable surge in funds from overseas Pakistanis into the Roshan Digital Account during November.
In expressing gratitude, the Central Bank extended its heartfelt appreciation to the overseas Pakistani community for their consistent support and unwavering trust in the Roshan Digital Account initiative.
This notable achievement follows a previous upswing in remittances through the Roshan Digital Account recorded in September 2023. During that month, the State Bank reported a significant milestone, with the amount sent through the Roshan Digital Account reaching an impressive $6.70 billion.
