Baloch student disappearance case: The prime minister has called the court for the next hearing

slamabad: The Islamabad High Court has summoned the Prime Minister for the next hearing on the missing Baloch students’ commission recommendations implementation case.

During the hearing, the court expressed dissatisfaction with the report of the ministers’ committee, leading to the court demanding Additional Attorney General Manzoor Qadir Dugal.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani conducted the hearing, where Assistant Attorney General Usman Ghuman presented a report on one page of the ministers’ committee meeting. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, expressing dismay, returned the copy of the report, stating that this court feels ashamed at the report. The Prime Minister and the Interior Minister are related to Balochistan. The Prime Minister and the Interior Minister should have realized that this is a matter concerning Baloch students. Baloch missing students’ advocate Emaan Mazarai appeared before the court.

After a break, the hearing resumed, during which the Islamabad High Court summoned the Prime Minister for the next hearing. On this occasion, Additional Attorney General requested the court not to summon the Prime Minister and ministers for the next hearing, to which Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that there is nothing in it; it is all a joke. What more insult will there be to the people of this country when people are missing? The court inquired who represents the Ministry of Defense, and representatives from the Ministry of Defense appeared in court. The court directed the Defense Minister to appear at the next hearing. The Interior Minister should also appear; their presence does not make a difference. This is not rocket science. We are sitting in Islamabad and talking about the rights of Balochistan.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked, “I give a 7-day deadline, take action.”

The court inquired about the Defense Ministry, to which representatives of the Defense Ministry appeared in court. The court directed the Defense Minister to appear at the next hearing. The Interior Minister should also appear; their presence does not make a difference. This is not rocket science. We are sitting in Islamabad and talking about the rights of Balochistan.
