Dublin, the capital of Ireland, witnessed turmoil after two stabbing incidents in the government district.
According to media reports, two separate stabbing incidents occurred in the government district of Dublin, resulting in injuries to three children and a woman.
Following the attacks, agitated individuals engaged in rioting, setting fire to various vehicles, including trams and buses, while multiple shops were also looted.
Police have identified a single individual as the prime suspect in both incidents, currently hospitalized in critical condition. The alleged perpetrator, identified as a resident of Ireland for the past 20 years, is said to be involved in both cases.
Authorities clarified that the incidents are not terrorist-related, but due to security concerns, the area has been cordoned off, and Trinity College has been temporarily closed.
